1- Walk:
The best way to explore the city’s lively downtown neighborhood is by foot. From Sheraton Hotel, walk one block to the North and you are in the heart of actions. The downtown core is served by several Underground Stations where “Metro” will bring you, either directly or by a connection bus, to other tourist attractions. The closest station to Sheraton Hotel is Peel Station on the Green line.
2- Public transit (Metro and bus):
Montreal has a clean, safe, and efficient transit system, which, along with your feet, is arguably the best and easiest way to explore the city.
Metro: is the backbone of the transit system, with 68 stations on four lines.

Bus: The www.stm.info web site has a trip planner (or use Google Maps directions and choose Transit); as well, it offers various maps online, and each metro station has a system map posted on the métro platform and often elsewhere as well. Some bus stops have the system map, many have the bus schedule and route posted, and each bus stop has its own number -- call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (514-288-6287), listen to the instructions, type in the bus stop number, and you'll get the times for the next 3 busses.
You can find the following link for your trip by bus:

Fares: Tickets can be bought at any metro station from the booth (cash only) or the machines (cash, credit, or debit card). Busses accept tickets or exact change in coins (no bills). You can buy either passes which offer unlimited use until they expire, or trip tickets which are good for one trip up to 2 hours including transfers (between buses and/or transfer between metro/bus line). Note that they do mean transfer, therefore you can not make return trips or interrupt your trip and take another bus on the same route. Keep your ticket with you during the entire duration of your trip and show it to an inspector upon request. If you are unable to show proof of payment, you will be subject to a fine of up to $500.
Note: There are reduced fare age 65 and +, however a photo ID OPUS Card is required
3- Taxi:
If you prefer getting around by taxi, it’s easy to flag one down on the street. You’ll also find them at one of the city’s many taxi stands or in front of most major hotels.
4- Bike:
